Specify is an AI-powered document management platform that provides users with intelligent document creation, editing, knowledge graph-based insight generation, and real-time collaboration features. The Service utilizes AWS Bedrock's Claude AI model to assist with document creation and employs Yjs CRDT technology to enable real-time collaborative editing. The knowledge graph feature visualizes relationships between documents, helping users structure their knowledge and discover new insights. The Service offers four subscription plans: FREE, PRO, TEAM, and ENTERPRISE.
These Terms of Service govern the use of the Specify service and define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users. By registering for an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. The Company may modify these Terms as necessary within applicable laws, and changes will be notified through service announcements or email.
To use the Service, you must register an account using your email address and password. You must provide accurate information during registration and promptly update any changes. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. The Company may suspend or delete your account without prior notice if you violate these Terms or applicable laws.
Through the Service, you may create, edit, store, and share documents with AI assistant support. The AI assistant uses AWS Bedrock's Claude Haiku 4.5 model. Real-time collaboration is powered by Yjs CRDT technology. You must use the Service only for lawful purposes and must not infringe upon the rights of others.
The Service offers FREE, PRO, TEAM, and ENTERPRISE plans. Paid plans are offered on monthly or annual billing cycles and automatically renew unless canceled. You are responsible for accurate payment information. You may cancel anytime; already paid fees are non-refundable, and you may use the Service until the end of the current period. The Company reserves the right to change fees with 30 days notice.
You retain ownership of all content you create through the Service. The Company uses user content only for service provision. All intellectual property rights in the Service itself (design, code, algorithms) belong to the Company.
You must not: (1) collect others' personal information without authorization, (2) disrupt service operation, (3) reverse engineer the Service, (4) exploit vulnerabilities, (5) post illegal content, (6) use automated access means. Violations may result in account suspension and legal action.
The Company may modify the Service for quality improvement. Permanent discontinuation requires 30 days advance notice. You are responsible for regularly backing up your data.
The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties. The Company's liability shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid over the past 12 months. The Company does not guarantee accuracy of AI-generated content.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The Seoul Central District Court shall be the court of first instance jurisdiction.
The Company may modify these Terms with at least 30 days advance notice for significant changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
